LpWhiz First Week Grand Launch

Written on June 7, 2008 – 7:27 am | by aditya |

Most of the affiliate marketing world is already aware of my new service called LpWhiz. A membership based site for affiliate marketers where all members (maximum 100) get 20 landing pages every month for just 29.99 USD. A more detailed coverage about it was done by the following bloggers -

http://www.zacjohnson.com/low-cost-landing-pages-from-lpwhiz/

http://www.tylercruz.com/cheap-landing-pages-from-lpwhiz/

In the first week itself, we reached a count of 55 members. That is 55% of the total slots available. Apart from these members, we still expect more members to signup in the coming days after realizing the benefits LpWhiz provides.

Many people have been discussing competition issue among the members. Now a little bit brainstorming is required here. If you look a bit closely on the fact that 100 members are sharing 20 landing pages, you can guess that it will not be necessary that all members attack any one landing page or offer. Say at maximum extent, there will a maximum of ten members who pick up one landing page to promote it . If this happens, again we must look at the fact that it is not necessary that all those ten use only adwords. They will be divided into three PPC engines. Say 5 use google and 2 use yahoo and msn each and the remaining one goes anywhere else. You can see how the competition comes down.

So dudes , be wise !! Its just 29.99$. You can’t expect even a single exclusive landing page for this price and you are getting 20 of them.

Sad to hear you are not planning to consider adding a couple unique pages for members. I’ll be canceling my membership after the first month so you will have one more spot open ;).

As far as your guess on how many of the 100 members will use each page, that is kind of silly to just assume that. What happens when the majority choose one offer to really push on? Sure, maybe not every landing page will have all 100 people bidding but even if only 1/4 are thats a lot of extra competition all bidding on the same keywords.

Also, you seem to think each marketer only uses one network by stating that there will be less competition because people will spread out. Every good marketer that I know uses ALL three at the same time for good campaigns. So, if that is the case with the members here too, then you extra competition on all three networks.

It’s a good price, I admit that, but most of your members are going to lose money and get frustrated when they all end up bidding on the same keywords. Maybe after you lose members month after month you will realize it’s not the best setup and that maybe you should consider giving some uniques too. Obviously that would take more work for you but in the end it would give members much more reason to stay on.

I’d rather spend my $30 membership fee to hire a designer to make me one landing page that I know is unique and won’t have 100 other people ready to jump on the same keywords. But if you added that to your service it would make it an even better deal and keep members because of the value.

Good luck though. Let me know if you decide to change the plans and I may keep my membership ;).

So you are not going to publish my comment?

Also, why haven’t the second set of landing pages added to the member area yet? In fact, there are only 9 since the ringtone pages are still missing.

Ignoring actual member comments by moderating them and not answering them and not following through with providing the content that was stated is already a pretty bad sign of things to come. I really hope you can get things worked out but so far I’m not too sure.
