Indians ! Now Pay For Adwords Using Your Internet Banking Account

Written on March 8, 2008 – 10:51 pm | by aditya |

I am sure this news is going to be very exciting for so many people including me. Thanks to Chayane (a friend of mine) who gave me this news first. Perhaps very few people know that Google has opened up variety of payment options for Indians to fund their Adwords Accounts. You no more need a Credit Card. You can do online transfers from your bank accounts of major Indian banks online. You don’t have a online banking account yet ? Then get one Now !! If you don’t want to get that, then another option is to pay by Cheque or Demand Draft directly to Google Hyderabad office. The amount is instantly credited to your Adwords account and you can start running the ads immediately. The bad news is that ICICI bank is not yet supported. I personally use three banks, ICICI , Axis Bank and IDBI bank. The later two are supported.

Nice Update! This is like a Boon to people who don’t have or doesn’t want to disclose their CC online… and also People can limit the ads how much the limit they have to pay by pre-paid system and not to see the credit card over limit hassles etc… I am waiting for Adsense Payment direct to BANK :)

Thanks for the update. Can you tell where can I find this feature. For me adwords still shows only credit card option. AS Abhishek said, I am also waiting for adsense bank deposit.

I second Abhishek’s opinion. Many of them don’t like to reveal their CC information online. I think Abhishek, Adsense money directly to bank is already in place but true, not for India yet.

Very interesting and thanks for sharing.

Kind of sucks since I too uses ICICI. And looking at the images, they also don’t support HSBC, right ?
