Kontera vs WidgetBucks - Who pays higher ?
Many might have noticed it from past one week the experiment I am doing with Kontera and WidgetBucks. Kontera is a very old PPC player while Widgetbucks is something just a few weeks old. I installed both Kontera and WidgetBucks on my blog from past 5 - 6 days until today when both WidgetBucks and Kontera started showing their revenues. Lets look at them one by one -
1. Kontera - Here is the first day statistics -
Net Impressions - 764
Clicks - 6
CTR - 0.79%
Revenue 0.17$
eCPM - 0.22$
Eh, CTR is quite acceptable at 0.79%. But the CPC sucks truly ! !. 17 cents for 6 clicks. So its around 2 - 3 cents per click. Very Poor Indeed !. Okay but I will probably never remove it but rather add it to all my sites. But why that ? Because of a very big advantage which kontera provides is that, it doesn’t eat up space on your website. You don’t need to place big widgets, rather just keep the code and it converts keywords in your text into ads. Agreed that it pays only 3 cents per click, but that could be well treated as free money !
2. WidgetBucks - I am using this on two places on my blog. One is top banner and another one is below the posts on individual post pages. The top banner had 1517 impressions and 3 clicks only.Apart from that, the main rectangular ad below the post had 535 impressions with 6 clicks (good CTR). Lets see both the stats. When I logged in to check my stats, i was too much confused. It shows 28 cents earning for both the channels top banner and the rectangle.
Initially I was confused, I thought that they are paying 28 cents for 3 clicks first and then 28 cents for 6 clicks. But later after a mistake pointed by Navjot in the comment here, I had to edit this post. Actually thats the pay for only 1 click and thats pathetic ! When we click on the plus sign besides the ad name, it shows all click stats and there I see that only one of the clicks have been audited. It seems they audit each and every click. The first click was generated exactly 3 days back and it paid 28 cents. Second click also paid 28 cents which was on the rectangle below. The later clicks have not yet been audited so far. And Navjot says, WidgetBucks paid him 48 cents per click. WTF .. why is that with me ? Anyways, I would finally conclude that, according to this experiment, we can say that WidgetBucks is better to Adsense when it comes to PPC. Sign Up For WidgetBucks Here !

Hey buddy, you may have got it wrong. Open the + sign corresponding to your earnings and then check on which day which click was made and what was the earning. I made the same mistake and thought that I got 0.48$ for 3 clicks whereas it was only for 1 click!

Hry dude have a look at my blog
http://www.mytopblogspace.blogspot.com
I get paid $0.60 for 1 click on the tv ad. The amount depends on which ad you choose. As for cameras its $0.27-$0.28 a click and for sunglasses its $0.14
I will be checking more soon and just leave me a comment in my blog and I will let you know when i find some ads that pays more than $0.60 in widgetbucks.
3 days earning = $9.60
