WidgetBucks - The new tool to make money online
Well, I am pretty sure most of you would have not heard about this so far. WidgetBucks is a new ad network with some revolutionary features better than all the existing ad networks in my opinion. The ads are primarily shopping related ads, which displays various products.
The first cool thing is that, widget bucks ads work on the CPC model rather than affiliate system which is better than AuctionAds. AuctionAds displays similar products but they pay only when someone has purchased a product through your affiliate link. WidgetBucks pays for clicks !
The second cool thing with WidgetBucks is the coolness of the ads. Yeah ! They don’t spoil the blog’s look and feel like adsense. Don’t you notice the top 468×60 banner spot, does it look ugly ? I don’t think.
The Third cool thing is that, WidgetBucks integrates with everything, like Blogger, Typepad, Wordpress without any fuss. Its even simpler than adsense. Create a new widget, specify size, colors etc and there you have the code in hand, copy and paste it on your blog theme and you will have the ball rolling instantly ! Right Now, though I could see five sizes and 117 colour choices. WidgetBucks offers a technique known as MerchSense which crawls the page to find what the page is relevant to and displays ads accordingly.
The fourth cool thing with WidgetBucks gives a 25$ bonus with signup and the minimum payout is 50$. So you just need to make 25 more bucks and you will be making money ! They have flexibility to pay through cheques or through paypal.
For me, I have already started using WidgetBucks on my blog, as you can already notice. I will be updating you with my income stats shortly.

I just placed the WidgetBucks ad on my Ning community at http://www.PetBoogaloo.ning.com . I must say that I like the ads it serves up. They are actually relatively entertaining to watch. (Google Adsense is boring in comparison).
It seems that they serve up ads mainly in the computer, electronics, video, and camera type of niches. I was lucky that they had an option for the pet market.
I have several other sites where I’d would have liked to add WidgetBucks, but their other ad categories don’t fit my markets. I’d like to see something in the toy sector, or business to business sector.
From their control panel, you can select the category of ads you want, or you can have their spider crawl your site and decide what kind of ads to serve up. I’m not sure their spider is as robust as Google, where the ads are really tied to the content. I tried it on my toy site, but the camera ads kept showing up. So I decided to just keep Adsense on that for now.
I think it’s smart of them to offer the referral program. They should make it a 2-tier program.
