Well, I have been in the online world of Internet Marketing and SEO from the past few years and used many web hosts since then. I had positive and negative experiences with many webhosts. I have been a customer of Indian as well as International webhosting companies. Many people ask me which web hosting company should i choose when it comes to their websites. It is absolutely necessary to make a wise descision and use a good reputable web host so that your site remains safe ever. Personally the first webhost i used was 3ix.com for which i would say a strict NO NO. Earlier i felt that these guys are good and they had cheap packages. Just 1$ per month which is good price for beginners. I was a poor schoolboy then. (for those who dont know i started my business by purchasing a info domain and hosting with just Rs 300 which my father gave me to buy books) Later i felt that, this is one of the worst hosts ever when i found stupid scripts in my site’s footer which i never kept apart from that scanners started detecting trojans on my websites. Many other issues compelled me to move all my sites to some other good hosts who currently take care of my sites.

My current web hosts with whom i host my sites are -

HostBrains :- Owned by my best friend Amit Patel. The company is relatively new, was started earlier this year. I was one of its first customers. I got a 10 GB Space and 200 GB bandwidth package at 30$ per month. Most of my major sites are hosted here since he is my close friend and can be trusted. Most of his support staff and himself are always in contact with me and take care of my babies (sites) very well. The server performance and speed is excellent and unbeatable. I deleted 10 of my sites oops my bad, but good thing is that they were on HostBrains, so just a phone call and they are back again. And moreover i must appreciate his business skills the company grew to fast. Which web host company in India grew from 0 to 1000+ hosted domains in just some months ?

HostCats :- I came to know about these guys last winter and took a package from them at some 50$ per year for 1 GB space and 10 GB per month bandwidth. Hosted few sites and then 10 sites, then 25 again. Never had any problem with them. In the mean time, i developed good relations with the company and its partner company SeekNext(they designed a website for me) as well as the promoter of both the companies Abdul Vasi. Excellent support i have received from them. There were no downtime and sometimes when there was a scheduled server maintainance, they informed me on due time through telephone and email. They were to ready to solve my problems at 3 AM also. Last month, i got another package from them where i have hosted about 50 sites. It costed 200$ for a year with 10 GB Space and 100 GB Bandwidth.

ResellerZoom : - Good reseller account for some 59$ per year with 2 GB Space and upto 30 GB per month bandwidth. I have a package not for selling space but just creating sites with separate cPanels for myself. I have also hosted some school friend’s websites on blogs on this host.

HostGator :- 120$ and a 100GB space and 1000 GB bandwidth account. I purchased this for a music site which was never up. It is still being worked on since i require IPRS permissions as well as uploading over 50 GB songs. Hostgator is recommended for sites which require heavy bandwidth consumption.
