My New Nokia 5300 XpressMusic

Written on August 24, 2007 – 4:33 am | by aditya |

Well, 99% guys are always surprised when they look at my mobile phone. Yeah the 6 years old Nokia 2100 was what i had till now. The reason for that is i dont have much fancy for tough gadgets. (most people my age do have) until today when i was really fed up. My battery life has reduced to 2 hours. :p . I suddenly thought, its time for a new handset. I quickly consulted some online friends about it and looked at some cell phone review sites. Initially i thought of getting a Blackberry but then i didnt want to spend much on a handset now. I made up my mind to spend not more than 10000 Rupees. I dropped with the cash at my nearest Nokia Priority dealer and asked him to show the best things he can show me for that price range. I had more than 10 models on my desk. After much negotiation, i finally selected the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic . A beautiful black colored handset with a slider which came for around 7500 Rupees and had all the features i wanted.

It has got a 256 MB memory (can be upgraded to 2 GB) with a superb music quality and a excellent pair of headphones. A 1.3 megapixel camera which can even shoot small video clips. It came with the datacable and software CD-ROM also. An FM radio is integrated along with many good apps for use like Web browsers, media players, games etc.etc.

Its well worth 7500 rupees for the facilities it provides. I know it doesn’t have a lot of facilities, but it has all what i was looking for in my handset. I think i am quite satisfied with it.

What kind of online friends you consulted
You could have always gone for a N95 with Wireless Lan and many sexy features or a good business phone with internet features which helps in case of emergencies and travelling.
    Anyway Congrats
